STOP! support

Most problems come down to one macOS permission. Start with the fix that matches what you see, and write to us if none of them do.

Common fixes

STOP! says it cannot read Messages
Turn on Full Disk Access for STOP! in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access, then quit STOP! from the menu bar icon and open it again. macOS only applies the permission to a fresh launch.
Political texts are not showing up
Check that Text Message Forwarding to this Mac is on in your iPhone's Messages settings, since campaign texts usually arrive as SMS. STOP! also skips anyone in your contacts, anyone you have texted, and group chats.
STOP! did not send the reply
STOP! sends through Messages, so it needs permission to control it. Turn on Messages for STOP! in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Automation, then confirm the text again.
I lost my license key
Enter your purchase email on the license page and we will email you a link that shows your key and the Macs it is active on.
STOP! says my license is active on too many Macs
Open the license page, release a Mac you no longer use, and enter your key again. Before you wipe a Mac, choose License in STOP!'s menu bar menu and deactivate it to free its slot.
