How we decide where to open

Opening a country takes more than accepting a card. We have to handle its tax rules, its sanctions and export controls, its data protection law, and the fraud patterns that come with it. A country goes live once we can do all of that properly.

Where you buy from is separate from where your servers run. Our facilities are in Des Moines, Iowa, so that is where your workload sits unless you choose a different region when you deploy.

Which countries can buy Carpathian service?
The map on this page is generated from the same country list our signup and billing flow checks, so it always matches what you can buy today. Countries shown as available can create an account and deploy without talking to us first.
What does coming soon mean?
Coming soon means we are working through the tax, sanctions, and data protection requirements for that country and expect to open it. Tell us you are there and we will contact you when it goes live.
Why are some countries restricted?
A country is restricted when sanctions, export controls, or a fraud pattern make it something we cannot serve responsibly. That decision is about where we can operate lawfully, not about the people asking.
Does my country decide where my workload runs?
No. Where you buy from and where your servers run are separate. Carpathian facilities are in Des Moines, Iowa, so a customer in Europe still gets United States hosting unless they select a different region themselves.
Can I use Carpathian from a country that is not listed?
Get in touch. We cannot promise a date, but demand is how we decide which country opens next, and in some cases we can work with you directly.
