What's New in 2025.11.1

We've been working hard to make Carpathian more collaborative, secure, and flexible. Here's what's changed:

Organizations Are Here!

We completely rebuilt how user accounts work. When you sign up now, you'll automatically get your own organization, which means you can start inviting team members once we implement that feature (should be early Jan 2026).

What this means for you:

• All your infrastructure (servers, databases, files, monitoring sites, parked domains) now belongs to your organization instead of just you personally
• You can invite teammates and collaborate on projects together
• Switch seamlessly between different organizations you're part of

Much Better Security & Permissions

We rebuilt our entire IAM (Identity and Access Management) system from scratch. It's far more secure and gives you granular control over who can do what.

New role system:

• Owner: You own the organization with full control over everything (super user)
• Member: Use and access organization resources

New Pricing

Here's something we're personally excited about: we ditched the plan system. Instead of choosing plans with set alotments, you now get a default allotment (one free forever cloud server, web servers, database, etc) and can purchase additional resources as you need them. Pay for what you use, not what you think you might use.

Transparency & Navigation Improvements

We added a research page where you can see exactly what projects we're working on and the financial support we're providing to the community. We believe in being open about what we're building.

Also, we completely overhauled the publications page to make it much easier to find what you're looking for. We added tagging and seperated publications by category.

Under the Hood

This release includes major security updates and bug fixes across the entire platform. We've made the system more stable and secure while laying the groundwork for even bigger improvements coming soon.

• 15,000+ lines of code changed
• 15 security vulnerabilities patched
• 12 performance optimizations implemented

We're already hard at work on the next major platform updates. Here's what you can expect in the coming months:

• Team Member Invitations - Invite teammates to your organization and start collaborating
• WordPress Hosting - Deploy and manage WordPress sites with one-click installation
• Object Storage - Scalable file storage for your applications and backups
• Managed Databases - PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis databases that scale with your needs
• Public Beta Launch - We're shooting for January 2026

These features are currently in active development, and we'll be looking for beta testers soon to make sure things are running smoothly.
